Almost all that remains of the church today is a memorial stone. However, the churchyard with its tombs is a visitor's landmark today known as St. Andrew's Walk or the Birdcage Walk, with many surviving tombstones visible.

It is located near the city of Bristol. Memorial inscriptions from the St Andrew’s churchyard have also been transcribed and Clifton book by the Wharfedale Family History Group. St Andrew’s Church is the center of worship in the ancient parish of Gargrave (Church of England).

Gargrave is mentioned in the Doomsday book (ca ) but was probably a place of worship before on: Church Lane, Gargrave, Craven District.
